Let's face it this hotel is not the Ritz London. We paid around $65 per night, and I do not think you could get better value in Rio. The Atlantico is in an excellent location only three blocks from Copacabana Beach however it was just a basic hotel. The staff were very unhelpful and the waiters at breakfast dont even say a word! points that I think worth to mention: 1)there was a bad smell in the air near the pool and on the 13rd floor that I could not bear.In fact it was from sewerage system of the neighborhood . 2) internet is very expensive! 3)bathroom is very old. more

i don´t recommend it at all. the pool was broken and they never told it during the reservation. internet connection costed R$ 30 per hour. the only good thing about this hotel is the location, in front of the subway station. i think copacabana has better options. more

We stayed there for 5 nights arriving on Christmas Day. Don't be putt off the refur going on in the entrance hall. Reception staff and porters are very helpful. Our room was really alright.
