Great value for location. We were lucky to get one of nicely redecorated and well updated rooms. Used mini bar and had bar service at pool and charges at checkout were minimal. Checkin/checkout were easy...and nice and helpful staff. Bellboys excellent. Got a bad cut on street and desk was completely unhelpful though...they did not even have a first aid... More

Don't expect too much. This hotel is old and it shows. The elevators are clunky, the bathroom, TV and minibar look like they've been there since the early 1980s -- the skimpy towels too! The parking garage elevator was out of order, so I had to park across the street (you pay extra for parking anyway, about $15 a day).... More

I stayed at the Atlantico one night and that was enough for me. The front desk staff were rude and if you asked them a question, you were bothering them very much and they weren't going to deal with you. They spoke very limited English which also didn't help. The cleaning staff however seemed genuinely kind and warm. The rooms... More

The best aspects of this hotel are its ample (included) breakfast and its small rooftop pool. From the pool deck you can see the Christ statue, a bit of the ocean and a lot of Copacabana. The surrounding neighborhood is busy and gritty, but the oceanfront is just a few blocks away. I stayed during Carnival because this place was... More

From the rude and inattentive staff to the cockroach found in my room to the theft that took place in my friend's room, disappointingly, it was a bad choice by my tour company. More

When we booked the hotel it was rated as a 4 stars hotel, that is too much for this type of facility, it should be rated as a 2 stars. Beds were unconfortable, very limited amenities, not even a pen or pencil were provided. Breaskfast was included and was good enough, includes fruit, eggs, cereals, etc. More

We had the missfortune to stay here for three nights after a Princess cruise. The hotel is situated on a busy junction 4 blocks off the beach in what must be the noisiest part of town and surrounded by run-down bars on the fringe of the red light district. Prostitutes, pimps and druggies were impossible to avoid at night and... More

Stayed there for the second time due to convenient location in central Copa. Just opposite Metro station. Good breakfast but could improve on consistency. Luggage porter at the door and the room maid were the friendliest of the staff......the rest need training for the upcoming Soccer World Cup and the Olympics. The hotel in general and many of its facilities... More

The hotel was probably quite something back in the 70s. However, a lot of things have changed since then. The hotel however, looks like it did not change that much. The interior looks outdated and worn. The air-condition is very noisy and so are the rooms. The elevators are terrifying; the doors close violently at the moment you want to... More

Very good location, good breakfast but the service and attention are horrible. My wife and daughter stayed for 9 days and I accompanied them for a weekend. One day my wife noticed that after the staff made cleaning of the room, some clothes left on the bed were missed (An Abercrombie shirt and other expensive ones). At the beginning we... More
