Location can't be beat in Ipanema, one block away from the beach (almost just behind the Cesear Park Hotel). Lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Before going to Rio with a group of young females, I was inundated with suggestions and recommendations on safety. I was nervous as to what I was going to expect! Great place. The price is reasonable. The people are very nice and the beauty parlor inside the building is excellent. We have stayed in this hotel in two different trips. We would stay there again. Great places nearby. more

We spent a weekend at Ipanema Tower. The best thing is that the beach ( posto 9- Ipanema)is just two blocks ahead and there are a lot of very good bars and restaurants just as close as the beach.
