Loved the hostel. Not perfect but where is, its a hostel after all. Can be a little hectic and noisy as it is a party place. Also the building is a bit old. However, many many positives. I was looking for a good hostel in Rio but I didn't expect to find anything as good as Mellow Yellow. The staff were knowledgable and helpful and the location is brilliant. It is also great fun staying there and the hostel is extremely well kitted out. I would stay again if I come back this way. more

This is a huge backpacker factory, completely without any soul or charm!
