We stayed here for 2 nights, the only good thing is the location, but even that is not the best as the area itself is quite quiet for nightlife. To sum up the rooms, it is like being in a jail cell and im not fussy on hostels, but this was the worst of some very decent ones across Brazil.... more

5 of us stayed in a mixed dorm for 3 nights and the people and staff were really friendly and helpful and generally the hostel isn´t that bad (close to Sugar Loaf and easy access to buses and metro). However, the mattresses and pillows are plastic (very hot at night) and the rooms are basic. Also, there is no nightlife... more

This is an absolutely awesome hostel. It is in a great neighborhood and the staff are very helpful. It is also near the metro which is awesome for getting around the city. They have weekly parties with an awesome Brazilian bar b que. The rooms are simple and accommodating. They clean daily and the breakfast is amazing. I stayed here... more

Beautiful hostel, the rooms are a bit small but if you stay here be prepared for the party of a lifetime, chances are you won't get much sleep.
