The location and price of the hostel is just unbeatable. Breakfast is something few hostels offer, and when they do it's only cereal with milk. This place had a great one, which helps a lot when you're a traveller. It's a nice clean colonial house and the best thing the TV room and the patio makes it very easy to socialize with other travellers. Great location by the beach more

It was a very good hostel. Free high speed internet, no laundry but there were facilities to do your own. Security is very good - there are lockers in dorms, plus safe boxes, plus an overnight guard on duty. The staff are amazing and so helpful! Clean Hostel, nice rooms, not far my the beach, bars or resturants. Made loads of good friends there, only downside was no noise in the evenings, but to be honest we went out most nights anyway. more

We stayed in a (very) small double room here for six nights. It´s very expensive but so is everywhere in Ipanema (which is way nicer and safer than Copacabana).
