For Brazilian standards, the place is quite pricey -- around $90. Not the most glamorous location in Rio, and the nearest commercial plaza is a good half-hour walk. We were unlucky that our suite did not have hot water running, but apparently that was an unfortunate coincidence. Beutifully decorated, loved the bright colours. Clean, spacious rooms with fantastic views from our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The terrace on the top floor is the HIGHLIGHT of the place offering the BEST views in Rio de Janeiro - the bay, Pao de Azucar & el Corcovado.
