I chose this hotel after reading a lot of the reviews about the Copa and Ipanema hotels in Rio and doing a cost comparison. Figured I was close enough to the beaches in Centro and since it was brand new I would save $75+ a night for a better hotel and just use the subway and cabs to get around.... more

Hotel is located right in the old part of Rio,next to Cinelandia metro (excellent and safe means of transport) station.We stayed for 2 nights during carneval and the location was absolutely perfect, as was the hotel (only 6 months old)! There were lots of street parties,fun atmosphere and even local floats/carneval parade! High floor rooms have views over the city/port... more

Sehr gute Lage im Geschäftsviertel, also nichts für Badeferien, sondern eher für Geschäftsreise oder Kulturinteressierte. Tagsüber derzeit relativ ungefährliche Gegend.... more
