The best of this place is the location, as it is far from the "Morro do Careca" area that is very degraded (it is not a very nice neighborhood). There is a very small swimming pool and a very poor breakfast. The room is ok, with air conditioning and minibar. Everything seems old with a coat of new paint on it, but this is not a problem since the room is nice. The bed and pillows are not so confortable, so think about it if you will stay for some days. The bathroom is really nice and clear, but not so clean as I expected. I found the shower with that black spots between the tiles. Someone else's hairs were also left behind in the bathroom corners. It seems that this is very common in most not-so-expensive hotels I have been lately... Again, the hotel is not so bad, but I think there are better options in the city.
