We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Set on acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, and with only 23 rooms/bungalows, this pousada is private and very friendly. We booked a bungalow, but were upgraded to a deluxe bungalow. It was a wonderful room filled with antique colonial furniture, and wonderful outdoor space complete with 2 hammocks. If I... more

We stayed at Toca da Coruja for our honeymoon. We spent seven amazing nights in one of the luxury bungalos which was absolutely amazing. The property is brilliantly layed out and gives the guests a real sense of privacy everywhere you go. There is a very sweet rustic charm that is elegant but also understated. The staff was very accomodating... more

After 24 hours of traveling it was so good to arrive at this beautiful pousada. The grounds are amazing with tropical plants and animals surrounding the complex. It was also nice to hear from the manager about all the steps the pousada takes to maintain the environment around it. Our deluxe chalet was huge! When we arrived we had petals... more

this pousada really is fabulous. we had 'only' a double room, which was small but perfectly formed with veranda (with hammock) at the front and private terrace at the back. the whole place is very spread out, lush and green, with umbrellas on hand everywhere in case of a brief shower. the restaurant was great, with impressive wine list (and... more

Loved this place, stayed here for the main part of our honeymoon. We had one of the luxury bungalows which are HUGE. Service was really good and there were lots of small details that made the stay very enjoyable. Everything in the rooms was really high quality and the pool area was really nice to relax by. Breakfast was amazing,... more

This place is paradise. We LOVED staying here. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We spent 3 nights in a standard room and the last night in the deluxe cottage. We felt like royalty! The staff attended to our every need. The breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit and juice and breads and eggs and yogurt every morning. It felt... more

Were were expecting a little more luxury and closer proximity to the beach. Imagine our surpriise to find out that to visit the beach requires a long car or taxi riide and a climb down the cliffs. This is definitely NOT a beach resort. The grounds are nice, our mid range room was a little old --- the newer ones... more

Our stay at Toca da Coruja was truly amazing. The hotel grounds are so well maintained and manicured, and as the previous reviewer pointed out, they've done a lot to integrate everything into nature. The breakfast buffet in the morning was to die for...fresh fruits, strong coffee, a delicious plum yogurt and all the pastries and traditional breakfast treats one... more

My husband & I spent 3 weeks touring all over Brazil. This was one of our first stops. We started in Los Angeles so our journey took quite a while! From Natal, Pipa is another 1.5 hours by taxi. We went through several small villages on our way (and wondered what we got ourselves into) but when we arrived, it... more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel about 8 years ago and last weekend had a chance to visit it again. We were already impressed the first time but were really pleased to see that the place was greatly improved. Henrique, the owner, is a man with a lot of vision and mostly with sensibility and taste. The place... more
