We had just a one night stay while travelling through to Yellowstone - thought it was a little overpriced and unfortunately, since reading the previous review we can see why, it was absolutely empty when we checked in had the the entire pool to ourselves and even though we had pre-booked some time in advance and paid the $99 rate,... more

I made a reservation thru Hotels.com for a nights stay for $99.00 per night... apparently the best rate available. But... upon arrival from Los Angeles, the hotel itself was advertising a $55.00 walk-in rate to the general public for the exact same room that I had made the reservation for. Upon my reading the advertisement outside, I approached the hotel... more

Management response from

In response to your review I would like to clarify the difference in a reservation and a walk-in. When we take a reservation we will guarantee you will have a room upon your arrival, therefore you pay an established rate. We then offer "walk-in" rates for guest as a last minute deal to sell out our empty rooms. This is...

On our way to Jackson Hole and we stopped at motel/bar (BUll Moose) big mistake... they did tell us a nice place to eat with our family was the Flying Saddle Resort. We drove toward Jackson and before going into the canyon the resort was on the right, kind of hidden behind the trees and below road level, but what... more

My wife and I stayed 6 nights in a cabin. Very nice, I was surprised they had two flat screens on the walls, one in each room. Big expense to charge so little for the cabin. We loved everything, spent the evening in the restaruant and moved to the bar, ended the night in the indoor pool. Overall we loved... more

We came to stay as part of a snowmobile group of 30+. We found the facilities to be clean and modern. The food was excellent. The staff was courteous. The management was very cooperative when we needed a small meeting room to accommodate us. The coffee was even good. I only live in Idaho Falls and am considering bringing my... more

We had a two night stay to go snowmobiling and the place was a mess. We showed up for breakfast and there was no cook! We asked to speak with the manager and was told he doesn't come in until later in the day? Ended up going to a bagel place in town which was very nice. When we got... more

My husband and I stayed at the Flying Saddle for the holiday weekend. I had read mixed reviews for the steak house onsite and feel that there are better dining options in Jackson. At the time of our stay the resort was still finishing some major renovations. The new pool looks like it will be really nice. We stayed in... more

This place is fine for one night. The room and the bathroom were clean and all things worked well. The bathrooms are very small. The food in the dining room is way below average. There were four of us for dinner, and only one meals was acceptable. One broiled meal went back three times until they got it right. We... more

Had a great time in Wyoming and the Flying Saddle provided a comfortable place to stay. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, we had some items shipped ahead of time to the hotel and they accepted them and delivered them to our room with no problems. The room was clean, the bed and pillow... more
