This is by all criteria the best place to stay in Gramado, in the Brazilian Deep South. Rita Höppner has an excellent service, the German-styled rooms are cute, clean and cool, especially if you get one with a private warm pool. The Mini-Mundo is a must. The walk around the lake and neighborhood is real fun. I highly recommend this... more

I had been 20 years ago at Ritta Hoppner. It was important to me to stay in the old part of the hotel, old stylish German little houses. They are great. tea times remains the same: an absolute must. Service is perfect. more

Gramado is the city in the world I love the most. Everytime I go there, I try to stay in a different hotel. In 2005, I chose the Rita Höppner. This hotel is marvelous in every possible way. The accomodations consist of bungalows placed in a large garden that surrounds the reception building. The hotel and bungalows are built in bavarian style.
