Charming B&B with nice clean and comfortable rooms in the Lagoa de Conceicao area in Florianopolis. Sandro, the inn keeper, is fluent in English, very friendly and accommodating. The morning breakfast is simple but good (ham, cheese, breads, cereal, fruits). The inn is a short walk from the center of Lagoa and is in a much more charming and tranquil setting than the pousadas on the main drag. The front rooms have nice mountain and farm views . Mole beach is a short bus ride away - or walkable although the hill is somewhat steep (but relatively easy to walk back from Mole beach as it is mostly downhill - handy on busy weekend summer days which can get bogged down with traffic). The Thai restaurant nearby is also excellent and a romantic venue. All in all I really enjoyed staying at this B&B. Enough in fact to encourage me to write my first trip adviser review!
