Two of my best friends and I stayed at The Banana Tree Guesthouse in May this year for a week. We ABSOLUTELY loved it! The house is beautifully decorated, each of the bedrooms has it´s own character and we were lucky enough to stay in The Blue Room, which has french doors opening out onto a lovely wooden balcony overlooking the beautiful bay and the famous bridge. Every morning we woke up and had breakfast on the patio about 10 paces from the beach... Apart from being a great place itself the situation of the house is perfect - local shops with fresh bread just across the road, many different restaurants within walking distance offering the delicious local cuisine (we loved the feijao!) and also easy acess to the center of town and the surrounding beaches (which are stunning!). It was very peaceful and we would recommend it to anyone! Couples, groups of friends, families... Ian and Anna are so friendly and will do whatever they can to make your stay a memorable experience!
