We have just returned from a business trip to Piracicaba.
The Ibis hotel is pretty basic but the rooms are very clean and well maintained.
There is a "mini-bar" of sorts (you have a refrigerator, in your room, that you can use when you take your choice of beverage or snack from the bar, back to your room.
There isn't any pool or gym.
There are a few good restaurants about 5 mimutes taxi ride away and of course there is always the shopping center just across the road. The shopping center has plenty of shops, cinema, bowling alley and restaurants.
10 minutes drive down by the river there are some very good fish restaurants and market stalls.
Overall our stay was quite enjoyable and the staff in the Ibis were all very friendly and helpful.

Downside of visit was that there was not a lot to do in Piracicaba. more
