I must say its one of the best areas in Sao Paulo to stay, near the Ibiripuera park. However the hotel is quite expensive, any hotel in SP is expensive. US$200/night + US$17 breakfast. Breakfast is very good although. Service was excellent. Internet is also US$15/day, you can have TIM mobile net cheaper. Rooms are well equipped, however the carpets... more

Nice business hotel near Av Paulista in the heart of Sao Paulo. Well appointed and lots of staff on hand. Room very up to date finish, and with excellent views. I stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Ibirapuera Sao Paulo in October 2007 during the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Hotel is in a nice residential area with nearby nightlife and restaurants. I stayed at one of the top floors and had excellent views of Sao Paulo! Please see attached photos more

I stayed here for the weekend, nice hotel with average sized rooms and nice bathroom. Room service menu quite good. Nice Breakfast. Can take a while to get here from the airport if there is a lot of traffic. The only thing they were missing was a coffee/tea facility in the room. I would stay there again if I was... more

I've stayed at the Grand Mercure about 10 times now and I love it. If you want to be in an area of Sao Paulo where you can walk out of the hotel and see some sights, this isn't for you as its near some highways. However, for the price, this is a great hotel and includes high speed internet.... more
