Great location, impressive lobby, kind reception staff, spacious room. Nevertheless, it was like a trip back to the 90's. The decor is tired, no plasma tv in the room, no flowers in the floor lobby... I had to call to have my room made up. And frankly which top hotel has bath towels that are partially polyester? This hotel is BIG. As is often the case with big hotels, the service levels can sometimes fall a bit short on things which should be routine. Laundry can take too long to be collected. Room makeovers can be slow. The door mechanisms can accidentally lock you out and a technician has to come along and break into your room... more
