Staff excellent (especially Leonardo the bell-boy), but receptionist failed to register an extra 2 days stay for one of our party and we were made to feel it was our mistake, not theirs. Room very small, not enough storage space, (no drawers, no spare surface areas; very poor lighting. Bathroom contained bottles of water for R$15 per bottle (3 or... more

Location is good, hotel is a regular marriott without anything extra... No plasma TV's, in-room old-fashined carpets, food extremelly expensive if you consider you are not in a %-Star Hotel. There are better options in Sao Paulo for the same amount of money, or less. more

Wasn't expecting much, was only spending one night in Sao Paolo, needed to fly out to Manaus following day and staying at the airport just seemed too depressing. Had a pretty nice stay at the Renaissance. Room was fine, gym was awesome, spa pretty good, too. Actually had a sweet boutique with a some really cute clothes by a local... more

Good service, gym, lobby, and breakfast buffet; however, our room was small; smelled of mildew; and contained old furnishings and a small TV with a grainy image. more

We stayed in an executive room, which compared favourably with the other mainstream top end hotels for price. This is not a boutique hotel if you want that, pay the extra pennies and take what you get. The executive lounge is worth the money for service, quality of food and availability. It compares well with top end Asian hotels we... more

I had to stay in Renaissance hotel during the Grand Prix because Emiliano or Fasano hotels are full booked. Please don' t stay in this hotel, the room is bad , the service is O.K and the last thing all airlines crews are staying this hotel. Joseph from Montreal ,Canada more

This is a great hotel with an excellent location in the Jardin district. The hotel is 5 blocks from the high fashion retail area if that's your thing and near many restaurants and 1 block from the subway, which is very easy to navigate with the help of the concierge. Speaking about concierge, there was only one on duty at... more

The renaissance provided me with a good all round hotel experience. The high-lights were the extensive (and staffed) gym, security, extra comfy beds and good service. The gym is fantastic, very large and well equiped by hotel standards. There is also a nice pool area and a 'cybercafe' which offers internet access, jices, smoothies and snacks on the same level... more

The usual fare with chain, comfortable, friendly and good. It is a bit crowded at front desk, concierge with all the airline staff. We very soon realised that Sao Paulo didnt have much, so we were soon done with the sight seeing and the shopping and spent a lot of time in the hotel...i was hiding from the humidity and... more

Stayed at the Renaissance after the Emiliano and Unique, and was disappointed. It was a bit cheaper than the other the hotels, but it lacked the style, personality and the prices for 'extras' were outrageous. R$18 for a small bottle of water, R$25 for 15 minutes of internet access in the business center; R$45 to access the jacuzzi in the... more
