Been to many Intercontinental hotels around the world but this was the worst. Room service for just two coffees in the afternoon took over an hour and two phone calls only to arrive without any milk as specifically requested in Portuguese and English. Printer in Executive lounge ran out of ink and cartridge was never changed the entire weekend despite... more

My wife and I stayed at the InterContinetal, Sao Paolo for three nights Dec. 7th-10th, 2006. The hotel service is second to none, outstanding. Everyone at the front desk speaks English and they are willing to do whatever it takes. It is in a excellent location for shopping and restaurants. The rooms are large and well decorated. Excellent rates for... more

I stayed here on business so i wasn't too concerned about the cost but if i had to use my own money i would have felt like this hotel was a little expensive for what it was. It was definitely clean & the front staff knew great English & the room was really spacious. But, while i was there the... more

I stayed in SP for a week and a half during Nov. The Intercontinental is in the beautiful jardins district, very safe and full of good restaurants and some fun bars...You can go walking around the district at night to go to a restaurant or a lounge and it is perfectly safe. Parque Trianon and the art museum are just... more

On the first night of my stay I woke up with about 5 bugs (looked like bedbugs) in the bed and some bites. Mgmt apologized and switched my room. Other than that the hotel was very nice. more

It's OK. The pool is tiny and if you don't get down there early there is nowhere to sit. It is also a stopover hotel for aircrew..need I say more. Room service is actually quite good, and the food is better than average. After visiting the city several times over the past 3 years this is definitely one of the... more

The hotel is a 5-star hotel but the walls are so thin that I keep hearing my neighhours talking. Friends who stay in the hotel same period experience the same. Otherwise, all amenities and furnishing is just like another 5-star hotel. Location is also not great, unless you are working in the financial district. more

The Intercontinental is a very good business hotel in the very best part of Sao Paulo. I stayed two weeks on business, had several rooms and suites for guests, and made heavy use of the conference room facilities, business center, restaurant, bar and gym. My guests and I expected, and received, first rate service. The hotel staff is attentive, helpful... more

I´m still staying at the Intercontinental as I write this review. I was concerned with safety before I arrived in Brazil. The Jardin area is very safe and the hotel is in a good location to the museum and other shopping areas that are in walking distance. My husband and I walked around the neighborhood at night and felt very... more

The staff were all friendly and helpful. All of the desk staff and many of the bellmen and waiters speak very good English. I was upgraded for free to the club floors. These rooms include a nice breakfast buffet, internet and very nice cocktails and hors d'ouevres in the club lounge on 17. On Saturday, when there is no breakfast... more
