The Royal Jardins Sao Paulo is a brand new (so I was told by my driver) boutique hotel in downtown Sao Paulo. It's located 2 blocks from the famous Av. Paulista (shopping) and 3-4 blocks from Museu de Arte de São Paulo, or MASP. The location can't be beat. The rooms are small but perfectly suitable for sleeping, showering, and changing. I would advise Americans (who are more accustomed to larger rooms) to spend the extra money and get a "high grade" room. Staff is generally friendly. I advise checking your final bill throughly. I was billed for 2 nights instead of 1, and the clerk suddenly was unable to speak English when I protested. I stood my ground, but it took about 10 minutes for her to finally call out a manager who fixed the bill without question. Overall, great location. more
