Stayed in the Ibis Aracaju for a total of 8 days in February and March 2007 during two stays. The place is fairly new I suspect (couple of years old at the most, probably custom built as an Ibis hotel) and is well run with clean rooms and friendly staff.
The hotel is not located near tourist attractions (not that there are that many in Aracaju), customers appeared to be mostly business people such as reps and a few Brazilian tourists. When I was there the nightly rate was R$95 during the week and R$85 for weekend nights.
The room had everything required, from a good bed to a well-lit bathroom with excellent shower, area to hang clothes, working desk and bench, views over the surrounding residential area, fridge, effective climate airconditioning, tv, DDI phone, in-room safe, and good, high-speed wireless Internet (extra charge; when I stayed it cost R$12 for 24 hours).
