Well where to begin..... Borovets itself is a really great resort - super for families, great for students and SO CHEAP! Its not as run down as one thinks and the skiing is good for beginners/intermediates but not great for advanced. I recommend the ski school and the hours are flexible! Went there in Feb 2007 half term with 8 of my friends for a skiing holiday... we're students so we wanted something cheap! When we told our ski instructor where we were staying he laughed out loud... it has the worst reputation in borovets! The food is awful but the rooms are nice. So I would advise you not to... more
