My girlfriend and I went to Bulgaria for a 1 week holiday back in July.We wanted somewhere that wasn't too touristy and abit cheaper than the overpriced Sunny Beach resort .We opted for a place a 10 minute bus journey away from Sunny Beach called Sveti Vlas (St Vlas),a littile town on the coast.We stayed in the Hotel DiRossi which was fantastic and immaculate! Its a family run hotel with a great location and facilties too!The swimming pool area was brilliant with plenty of sun loungers to catch a tan and the pool was a good size too!The family that own it speak great English and were so helpful to my girlfriend and myself throughout the whole holiday! our room overlooked the the whole coast and the view was lovely whilst sipping a beer that cost around 20 pence in English! The hotel was situated a 2 minute walk from the main square in Sveti Vlas and 5-10 minutes from the sandy beach which has plenty of bars and restuarants and all are amazingly cheap compared to the corporate prices... more
