This is a 2 star hotel. The room was small with very basic amenities. The air cond was out dated and very noisy. I had to carry my luggage upstairs. But the buffet breakfast was excellent, with different types of Myanmar cuisine.

I'm local guest from Myanmar. One of my friend booked this hotel for me.I stayed only one nights. Hotel was nothing special,no lift, still installed old window type aircon, tube TV and celling fan.Towels were not typical for hotel use.Interior decoration was too old.Exterior decoration look like school.Room price also not cheap.Breakfast was nothing special.I didn't found any smiles from manager and receptionist.But...

We travelled with explore otherwise we would not have stayed in this hotel. There is no lift and some older people staying there were struggling with the stairs. In our room the toilet would not flush but they did come and repair it the following day. During the night we were woken by water pouring down the wall from the...

This was probably the worst place we staying in during our stay in Burma. As most reviewers have already said, it was nothing special and purely functional. We stayed here for 2 days and actually didn't spend much time in our hotel room which was good because the room was pretty tiny and rather than having a double that we...

We stayed here with an Explore! Tour which, by the way, was excellent. We were greeted with a music performance and a welcome drink, and porters carried our luggage to the room, just as well as there is no lift. The room was a bit tired really, there was a fridge and air con (although we didn’t really use it...

Nyaung Shwe is a very small town and you can see this hotel from all around as it is one of the tallest buildings and is painted yellow. Chinese run with, basic and functional. I stayed on the top floor (5th) and found it perfectly quiet enough. The noisiest thing was the old air conditioning whirring, which also dripped onto...

Came as part of our Explore tour. Rooms were spacious with hard beds with rock hard pillows, but thankfully some softer cushions were available. Woken by dogs and cockerels every morning, but otherwise quiet. Very close to lots of restaurants and very close to Inle Lake boats. Some nice little shops nearby - especially the one with paper shades made...

Hupin (pronounced HooPan for the locals) has a decent location. Their cheap rooms were decent, air conditioned, came with refrigerator, TV, and complimentary water. Bathrooms were ok for a guy, and hot water was available. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. WHEN to visit Inle - TIME your visit so you can make it to the floating market...

Again, by western standards this is pretty average, but for Myanmar it's fine. Firm bed, rock hard pillows (urgh), tv, and the usual slow wifi. Good location, although most of Inle is very walkable. Their restaurant across the road is really very good. If you can, order the Shan cuisine meal. It has to be ordered 24 hours before, but...

Stayed here with our Explore tour. The hotel is located in a quiet spot just off the main street. Rooms are spacious and clean and with wifi, fridge, (noisy) aircon and opening windows with mosquito screens. Beds comfortable and everything worked and was clean if a little spartan. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with an egg/omelette station and a good...
