Guest house very well located. Nice rooms and good food. Excellent day tour around Battambang. Brett ( the owner) helped us to understand better the Cambodian lifestyle. more

On arrival in the hotel i got the message that the hotel was full, The owner told me that my reservation was for another day. I checked later the confirmation email of the hotel and the date was ok. The only thing the owner offered was a beer and the cheap excuse his computer was broke. I dont know what... more

This was an unfortunate error on my behalf and I hope it didn't disrupt your travels too much. I use a database on the computer in conjunction with a web based script to keep track of bookings. The day before your booking the PSU (power supply unit) on the computer failed. As the water festival holiday was going on in...

Found Bus Stop Guesthouse quite by accident on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a go. Booked a room on-line and got a prompt response from Brett, the genial owner, with a promise to have me picked up at my arriving bus. I spent five days at this clean and well run guesthouse and received some of the best and... more

Stayed 5 days at the Bus Stop in Battambang, with the intention of relaxing and having a look around the place. Hired a bike through the guesthouse - about $2 bucks a day cheaper than others on offer and he also provided a map to help locate places of interest. Food was good, the draft beer was cold, rooms were... more

After a expectedly horrendous border crossing at Poipet we arrived quite by accident - thanks to our taxi driver - at the Bus Stop Guest House. ... We were welcomed in good Aussie style with the offer and the taking of an amazingly ice cold beer and our first Western food since leaving home a month before - and oh... more

Maybe the owner had a bad hairday, but after our complain about noise he sent us (with two children of 2 and 4 years old) in cold blood away at 2.00 a.m (!). De rooms were vere small, and the airco in the frontroom wasn't working well. It was very scary. Fortunately we found a warm welcome at nearby International... more

There is always two sides to every story. You were asked to leave my guesthouse as a direct result of your drunken and abusive confrontation with the newlywed Cambodian couple outside the premises. It was regrettable that such action had to be taken and I did as much as I could to make it easy for you. I arranged another...

I'm a Phnom Penh based expat and I have reason to travel to Battambang occasionally. I've spent my last three visits at Bus Stop and definitely recommend it as being the best option in this price bracket. For example, on my last trip I was able to get a large corner room with balcony, double bed desk etc and do... more

Clean well run guesthouse in centre of town. I paid $9 a night for fan, hot shower, free laundry and cable TV although Brett the friendly manager plays a good selection of music downstairs in the bar - lovely with an ice cold draught Anchor beer! He is also very knowledgable of the area having been in Cambodia for 13... more

A friend and I stayed at the Bus Stop guesthouse for a few days in June as we were traveling overland from Phnom Penh to Thailand. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and very reasonably priced. The draft beer is always ice cold, and at $0.75 per draw one heck of a value. After looking around Battambang a bit during our... more

"Bus stop" is a great place for info about Battambang and beyond, I took the "Motto" tour to Phnom sampeou and it was well worth the money. Brett is a great bloke and the atmosphere at the Bus Stop is relaxed and friendly. I recommend the "Bus Stops" icy cold beer after a day of travel and sightseeing. Duncan from... more
