We paid 15usd for an aircon room with two double beds. The room was pleasant, and a good size, although the bed cover was stained, but clean. There was a fridge which wasn't turned on and I couldn't work out where to plug it in as the furniture was built in. There is a kettle and cups/saucers but no tea/coffee.... more
This is the new Khemara hotel (take care because there is another "old Khemara" in town) It is great for the price of course, it looks almost luxury and there is a nice pool. It is about 2 km from the town, but there is few to do in Battambang in the nighttime. The food was not good (but eatable),... more

Good quality hotel with some design flaws. For example, the pool side rooms have limited view of the pool and no direct access and have to walk around the building. WiFi is free but the concrete structure makes it difficult to use if not near a window - does work at the pool. Staff is nice but attention to detail... more
Regularly visit Battambang in the course of work and have got into the habit of staying at this place. It is new hotel (old Khemara Hotel is also in town) and lacks much ambience but for USD 15 night it is very good value indeed. Rooms are furnished to high standard with very comfortable beds.
