The Hostal Nomade is actually an old mansion that has a cool atmosphere. The hostel is very roomy and the rooms were nice and clean, also the bathrooms. There is a nice big garden, a big dining room and living room that has a fire place and a pool table. The porch has a beautiful view over the bay. The staff was very helpful and flexible.
The city offers many activies and everything is close. Not far from the hostel lies the Pampilla where you can do climbing and bouldering. Also you can take a catamaran through the bay that passes the fort and an island where you can see sea lions or hang out at one of the beaches. You can also go up to the cross that seems to be watching over the city to enjoy the great view, there is also a mosque, which I found very interesting. My favourite place was the fort where it feels like you have actually gone to the end of the world.
The center is a 10 minute walk and the neighbourhood the hostel is located in is called Barrio Inglés...
