We asked our tour operator in China to book Tea Cozy for our stay in Yangshuo. We are so thankful we did! We can attest to other reviews that the staff and facilities are outstanding. What we also appreciated was that it was away from the heat and crowd of Yangshuo city centre. If one really needed to go to... More

As with other visitors we met there, we discovered the Tea Cozy through the reviews on Trip Advisor, and were not disappointed. Having travelled through most provinces of China over the past two years, this is by far the nicest and most relaxing place we have stayed. Its setting, amidst rice paddies and impossibly pointy hills, 5km from Yangshuo, its... More

Absolutely the best experience of our stay in China. Stuff is exceptional, really outstanding. Thank you Amy, Susi, Richard for your hospitality, help and making us feel at home. Your help with our medical emergency was greatly appreciated. Your hotel and your attention to the customer makes this hotel the best we stayed in for a long time. Location is... More

We wanted to take a break from touring the big cities of China, and this was a great place to do just that. Rustic, but very tasteful and comfortable, the Tea Cozy was definitely a good choice for us. Our room was on the fifth floor, overlooking the houses of the village and the fields worked daily by the local... More

Great looking hotel with an idyllic setting next to some paddy fields. I can't speak highly enough about the service we received during our stay. Everyone at the hotel wanted to help and make sure our stay was perfect. The staff organised several local trips and the bike hire was reasonably priced. The food choice was varied and the quality... We stayed here in early May of this year and not only was the hotel spectacular, but the customer service was absolutely out of this world. There was a mixup with our ferry transfer and Curry, one of the owners, came out personally and found us to bring us to the hotel. All of the staff from top to bottom... More

Wonderful small hotel, located outside Yangshuo in the rice fields. Great views of the surrounding countryside with lots of local color. Beautiful rooms with balconies, wonderful food with many vegetables from their organic garden. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, A-Amy, B-Becky, C-Curry. Great location to visit the local sites. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. We would have... More

My wife and I, both 'seniors', travel independently. Tea Cozy is such a terrific break from the normal round of hotels. The location, set among the paddy fields and farms with the backdrop of the amazing 'Coconut macaroon' Karst mountains rivals any scenery we have seen in our travels. The hotel is small with twelve rooms but the service is... More

Just returned from a 3 week vacation in China and Tea Cozy in Yangshou was without question our best hotel experience. The location, service, quality, food, and staff are all 5 star+. It's the full package. If you are planning to visit this region, Tea Cozy is your best choice, by far.

This hotel is excellent, definitely the best one we stayed at in China. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food and teas served in it's restaurant are great. They had free barbecue food to celebrate the Easter weekend for guests which my girlfriend enjoyed.Unfortunately, I was suffering from food poisoning from some fish I ate at the farmer's... More
