Very cosy, small enterprise justified in their description of "we are a family". Staff seem genuinely to care for you - not just doing it because it is their job. River activities were closed throughout our stay due to a deluge but that made us take advantage of other trips - we would recommend the Chinese cooking and fan painting.

My mom reserved this place because she wanted to unwind and relax....and that we did. It was wonderful. We took the last two rooms which were on each end of the hotel. Small but nice. We had a three night stay here and wished we were staying longer. The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel is sat right by the river and you could not ask for a better view. At the same time, you can walk to the busier strip and some of the caves in about 30 minutes and are a short taxi... More

The hotel is some km off downtown Yangshuo. We had taken a taxi from another city and he had a hard time finding it, but nothing that couldn't be sorted out with a phone call. From the moment we arrived it was just magical, beautiful position overlooking the Yulong River. Meals were very nice and plentiful, prices very competitive with outside the retreat. The staff were just beautiful, friendly and extremely accommodating. Free dvd's available as no tv. Enjoy the bamboo rafting, very relaxing. This is a lovely and relaxing place to stay
