4th stop of a Wendy Wu tour of China. Hotel well situated near park and selected for a visitb to the Light Show. Rooms fine but smaller than previous hotels. Looked out onto a blank wall which prevented natural light getting into bedroom. Don't exchange currency at this hotel, very poor rate of exchange offered.

My visit started well with a delicious meal in the hotel's Chinese restaurant. My room was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. This maybe a 4 star hotel in this county, but it would be a 2 star in a city. We were really disappointed with this accommodation - the rooms were musty and dirty, the beds were extremely hard, the towels were discolored and well-used, no coffee, milk or any extras. I enjoyed our stay in this hotel in November. The view of the mountains in Guilin were awesome. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff struggled a bit with English but they did try. The drawback is the location is a bit of a hike to restaurants and shopping
