This is an older hotel but the rooms have been renovated to appear a little more up to date. We were only there for bedtime, but the bed was comfortable enough and our 14 month old slept in a crib they provided. The living area is separated from the bedroom. The room had a sink and fridge in the living... more

This hotel is old, but has been renovated as far as I can tell. My suite was very large and updated. No rust, dirt or stains. Bathroom was spotless. Two large plasma TV's and a large desk and bar, with fridge and microwave. Maybe some rooms are still waiting for renovation so if you get one of those, just switch... more

Came in for a wedding and stayed in a double room. The breakfast was great!!! The staff was really nice and helped us out with the stuff we needed. The only thing that I didn't care for was that our bedroom door was off the hinges and it wouldn't close all the way. Every time you closed it, it would... more

This hotel is well past its prime and no one seems to care. Typical Embassy layout-large atrium, two room suites. Bathroom had a 7 foot ceiling, felt like I was in a cave. Mold in the bathtub grout Television had lotion splashed on the screen-I hope- and tables were dusty. Got there late on arrival, after midnight, and there were... more

Nice Stay. Our room was comfortable and clean. Check in was quick. The check in staff wasn't the friendliest I have encountered but definitely not the worst. We had a problem with the toilet in the room not flushing. I called the front desk and someone was sent up 15 minutes later to fix it. The breakfast was great, made... more

My wife had business in Birmingham and I went with her. We had been cautious about staying here especially after the last four reviews posted in 2008. But we had no real problems. Check-in was quick and efficient. We had a quiet room on the 6th floor away from the elevators. Our room was clean and had extra towels. The... more

The hotel was very nice, had a great atmosphere. Check in went very smoothly. Got to the room and was very impressed. Several of us came down for a Cheer competition and decided to stay at the Embassy. We all had very clean rooms no complaints at all. The swimming pool was very nice. The only thing my kids was... more

The checkin was terrible as I waited in line and the desk clerk attempted to take the attractive young lady standing behind me. She said No I will wait my turn, then the other desk clerk helped the lady and my desk clerk kept stopping my reservation to blatantly give attention to the lady. Once in my room, I called... more

I usually enjoy staying at an Embassy Suite, however this time my stay was only ok. My first room had a broken( hanging metal, broken glass) sliding glass door. Quickly they gave me a new room on the floor that I had originally requested, but told there was none available. Cold food, no omelets until our last day when a... more

This was the dirtiest Embassy Suites I've ever visited. The room floor was dirty, the common areas were dirty, the pool area was not clean, the pool bathrooms were excptionally bad, there were candy wrappers in the flower beds, and algae growing on the window above the hot tub (which was really a warm tub). The breakfast area was absolute... more
