Stay at the Tutwiler instead. It took a week of hassling all the managers to get a "Late Check-Out Fee" removed from my credit card. They said after I checked out I went back to the room...4 hours later. I wasn't even close to downtown Birmingham at that time. Be ware.... stay if you dare. more

We recently spent two nights at the Redmont. Upon on arriving, we found our room had been given away. However, the front desk clerks were quick to find a replacement. The room was very comfortable and clean. The place has an interesting history. I would definitely consider the Redmont again. more
