Recently stayed at this Holiday Inn location on a weekend getaway for a play at the BJCC arena. The Sheraton at BJCC was booked so we picked this one for its close location to the BJCC. This hotel is in an older unattractive area of Birmingham which most are that are close to airports. However, once inside the hotel, the... More

If you are truly passing through, it's just fine. I usually book through Hotwire, so it's worth it every time. The internet is spotty, but adequate. The breakfast is just okay, but cheap ($6.95). The beds are new and plenty comfortable. Flat screens, fridge, microwave and so on. In all, if you can get it for around $65, it is... More

I move around the Southeastern half of the US a lot and by far this Holiday Inn Stands OUT~! Angela the Evening Lobby Attendant, David the Manager and ALL staff where VERY nice and helpful. This way my second stay in about 2 months the hotel itself is immaculately maintained and I felt entirely safe staying there. The rooms were... More

Was in town for a football game so I got this place via Priceline as it is close to the airport. Pros: Helpful staff, decent price Cons: Noise from freeway was LOUD, small bathroom More

Though the neighborhood is somewhat substellar, the hotel itself is immaculately maintained and I felt entirely safe staying there. The rooms were incredibly clean and provided very comfortable beds. The fitness center was a bit of a disappointment, with BOTH of its treadmills failing to go after than 3.5 miles per hour, but the elliptical and recumbent bike worked just... More

I travel a lot - this is a nice hotel though situated in a questionable neighborhood. While it is very close to the airport - it's a quick drive to downtown, which is not a big deal during the day but at night...be careful. The Holiday Inn obviously had a nice renovation within the past year or so; it is... More

This is a very old hotel that has been remodeled several times. Everything about this hotel is very good EXCEPT, it is VERY NOISY. It is located next to a very busy interstate (I 59/20) and the windows are not insulated. More

The best thing this hotel has to offer is the top notch friendly staff. Public spaces are very attractive. Guest rooms are very small. This is not a 4-star hotel as promoted on Priceline but more like a 2.5-3-star. More

We only stayed one night at this hotel but had a very good experience. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, including the bathroom. This hotel shows its age a bit in the bathroom but it has been redone for the most part. We had the package where you Stay and Fly. This worked out... More

Decided to stay in town for a mini vacation. Hotel was surprisingly nice for the location. Only about 5 to 10 minutes away from resturant and shopping. Hotel room had a microwave and refrigerator which was perfect for late night snack storage. Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, but dinner food from the restuarant was good. More
