Front desk staff inexperienced, bartender too busy to pour a glass of wine, elevator not working, carried luggage up dirty staircase to a cramped, musty, dark, and dirty room, noisy wedding party on same floor, will never come back and have made of point of telling others to avoid this place. more

This was my second stay at the newly refurbished Hotel HIghland and it was - again - a lovely visit. This is a small facility that caters to personal service. It's cozy, quaint, elegant and very comfortable. I plan to make this my home away from home as I visit Birmingham often. Great value and very comfortable. more
