This was our second time staying at the Hyatt Place in Birmingham...we will not stay anywhere else. The price, room, location and service are wonderful!!! We have stayed at Grand Hyatts where the rooms and hotel are more luxurious with additional amentities but the service at the Hyatt Place is just as top notch as it is at Grand Hyatts!!! more

Upon checking in the gentlemen at the counter was very friendly, courteous and helpful. As most have said these facilities are old AmeriSuites so the rooms are actually quite large and have been nicely updated with quality furniture, carpet, etc. There is a modern feel to the entire hotel from the lobby to the rooms which isn't my thing but it still is comfortable.
