We stopped at the Hyatt Place in Birmingham on our way to Disneyworld. It was a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly the beds were very comfortable especially after 10 hrs in the car. The sleeper sofa was even very comfortable. There were 6 of us in one room and we slept great!! The next morning the continental... more

Hyatt Place always seem to provides a great room and support on my business trips. If you have stayed at one you have seen what they have to offer. However every now and again you get service that is above par. This latest trip to this Hyatt Place showcased staff support that you expect to find at a Hyatt resort... more

This is the kind of hotel that had a nice room overall, but is like going to a nice restaurant and getting food poisoning. The air conditioner was so loud we actually did not hear the tornado sirens blaring during our stay and it was very difficult to sleep with that thing whirring away all night. I liked the TV,... more

I was all ready to give this hotel 4 stars until I checked out. Running a little behind, I asked the clerk at the front desk if it was possible to get a late check out. She immediately said: "No. My manager just came and told us that we couldn't allow any late check outs because the hotel is sold... more

As most have said these facilities are old AmeriSuites so the rooms are actually quite large and have been nicely updated with quality furniture, carpet, etc. There is a modern feel to the entire hotel from the lobby to the rooms which isn't my thing but it still is comfortable. All the rooms open to the inside, seem pretty sound... more

Hyatt Place Inverness is new and in a great location. The best shopping area, The Summit, is about a mile away and other sites including Samford University and The Vulcan are not far at all. I liked the arrangement of the partial suite hotel. The rooms are not separate but there is a nice full size sofa and little kitchen... more

We stayed here while attending the Papajohns.com bowl. There was nothing at all that we didn't like. The rooms were spacious and the staff very accomodating, putting our friends in the adjoining room. Our guys loved the big plasma tv's. Everything about our stay here was excellent! Highly recommend! more

Excellent facilities, newly remodeled. The rooms have new 42" flat screen t.v.'s that are situated between the bedroom area and the sitting area. Small kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink and coffee maker. The continental breakfast includes fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast. You can order full breakfasts - an example is a frittata for $6.50. You can also order sandwiches, pizzas, etc.,... more

I stayed at the Hyatt Place for five nights while I was in town on business. The room was very spacious and the plasma TV was great. There were a few stains on the carpet in my room and there were some dusty areas, but overall my stay was above average. The staff was very nice and was always willingly... more

I'd stayed at this hotel before when it was Amerisuites and had an awful experience. But the Hyatt Place was awesome and for the price it was unbelievable. The flat screen tv and sofa were great considering this was a standard room. The staff couldn't have been better, everyone seemed to genuinely want to help you. The beds were comfortable... more
