As most have said these facilities are old AmeriSuites so the rooms are actually quite large and have been nicely updated with quality furniture, carpet, etc. There is a modern feel to the entire hotel from the lobby to the rooms which isn't my thing but it still is comfortable. Hyatt Place Inverness is new and in a great location. The best shopping area, The Summit, is about a mile away and other sites including Samford University and The Vulcan are not far at all. We stayed here while attending the Papajohns.com bowl. There was nothing at all that we didn't like. The rooms were spacious and the staff very accomodating, putting our friends in the adjoining room. Our guys loved the big plasma tv's. Everything about our stay here was excellent! Excellent facilities, newly remodeled. The rooms have new 42" flat screen t.v.'s that are situated between the bedroom area and the sitting area. Small kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink and coffee maker. The continental breakfast includes fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast. I stayed at the Hyatt Place for five nights while I was in town on business. The room was very spacious and the plasma TV was great. I'd stayed at this hotel before when it was Amerisuites and had an awful experience. But the Hyatt Place was awesome and for the price it was unbelievable.
