My husband and I stayed here during our 2 day visit to Dali in 2008.

The hostel is located a fair way from the main bus station and Dali old town which makes it a bit tricky for sightseeing. It is located next door to the 3 pagodas. This sight is very expensive at 120 yuan per person (more expensive than the forbidden city!). While it is nice to be so close to this attraction, I felt like we were too far from the main square of old town Dali.

The hostel offered a free pick up from the bus station (anytime of the day - just call them and let them know what time you arrive) - luckily this was the case as the hostel is 20km from the bus station.

The rooms are rather quaint and lovely. We stayed in a twin room. It is very quiet and peaceful. The hostel is situated around a traditional Chinese garden with a water feature and little bridges.
