The owner, Judy, is so helpful and speaks great English. We stayed for one night and kept a room for the full next day. The rooms are cosy, clean and have everything one need to stay comfortable.

We had an excellent stay for 4 nights at the Shanghai Family No. 68 Hostel. Rooms are clean (including toilet) with 24 hrs hot water supply. Judy and her family are very helpful in giving us touring advice. This hostel has made our Lijiang experience very unique and memorable! Highly recommend!

The family that owns the place makes all the difference. Extremely helpful and genuinely friendly, we got many tips on where to go and what to do during our stay there.
