The hotel has just opened recently. The rooms are luxurious - big, comfortable bed, TV, internet access. The shower is weirdly designed; one cannot avoid spilling water all over the floor. There is also a window between bedroom and bathroom, so one can lie in bed and see what's going on in the bathroom.

My strong impression is that the hotel is more concerned about operations than guest satisfaction. At one point, I went to the front desk to ask about how to operate the heater in the room (it's cold there in May!) and while trying to explain my problem to the employee manning the desk, the hotel manager came, interrupted us, and engaged the employee in a long conversation about something (I don't speak Chinese). I said I'd come back later and left; no one objected. I find that surprising and do not believe it would ever happen in a customer-focused hotel. At the morning buffet, sugar-loaded orange drink is billed as orange juice.
