The Moon inn is very conveniently located near the centre of the old town yet quiet and very peaceful. The rooms are clean, hot showers 24h a day and taxi service to the airport is provided. Miss Andy is a very good host, she speaks excellent English. The Moon Inn is a great option for all travellers. They can also arrange drivers to and from the airport, and also to Tiger Leaping Gorge, for a reasonable price. Highly recommended! Going back again soon, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Lijiang. more

I don't think we met the owner, but Miss Andy Pang took good care of us and all the staff was friendly and helpful (Andy spoke English, the others, only a little). We found Moon Inn on the net and called them directly to make the booking. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed in Room 201. 1. The inn accepts cash only and we paid RMB 550 per room per night. I discovered the Moon Inn two years ago while taking walk in Lijiang, and ended up staying four nights. It's owned by the Li family and managed by Li Ling, the eldest daughter who speaks excellent English. The family is tremendous and the rooms and location are among the best in Lijiang. What a find.
