Cavtat is beautiful. My husband and I stayed in the Aura Paula apartment - number 4 for one week. Very clean and modern. Very steep hill up to the apartment - but you are rewared with the spectacular view. Booked through the internet and was met by the agent Kerima, but it was the owner Marto who showed us around, he lives underneatth the apartments. Only complaint is that we had to ask for clean towels on day 3. They apologised for delay and gave us a bottle of liquer as an apology. They did not clean the room all week, but I actually preferred it that way, more private. There is a bakery at the bottom of the hill - yummy cakes. Cavtat is a quite peacefull place, however, there was a festival on when we arrived with fire-eaters, stilt walkers and fireworks! Lovely fish resaurant called Rotokin on the far side of the penisular to the main town. We had fresh lobster and prawns cooked before us on a BBQ in a woodland setting right by the edge of the sea - perfect! Would definately... more
