The Balic apartments are in a great location, about a 12 minute walk (uphill) from Hvar town. Much of this walk can be done by the harbour, which is a pleasure. However as reaching the apartments involves some steps it would not be suitable for anyone with mobilty issues.

We stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments, which featured a large double bed, a bathroom with shower and a good kitchenette. The filter coffee machine was also a plus! The spacious terrace with table and umbrella in front of the apartment also added to our living space and the discreet washing lines were great for hanging out swimsuits and towels after a day at the beach.

The aircon in the apartment is also excellent, but unfortuantely this doesn't stretch to the bathroom which does get quite warm due to the lack of ventilation. But this is not a real problem in such a lovely apartment. Towels are also provided and changed once a week.
