We stayed at Hotel Lovran for our first night in Croatia. As it was our first night we booked it before we went - but we shouldn't have worried; it was April when we went and Lovran was very quiet, even more so than we were expecting. We did not book anything in advance, and wanted to stay in the Opatija region, most preferably Lovran. As we were driving in Lovran, we found three hotels beside each other, and checked all three.
