If you're thinking of staying in or near Porec, this is an excellent alternative from all the naff 'complex' hotels and apartments. The hotel is set off the main road in a wooded area and the rooms are surrounded by trees, we woke up to birds singing every morning! The furnishings are beatutiful - very rustic and have the feel of a farm house/villa or spa retreat. The owners were incredibly friendly and cooked us a delicious meal of homemade walnut bread, ravioli with cheese and ham, with wild asparagus. Breakfast is a huge spread and was really delicious, we ate every morning on the terrace in absolute peace and quiet. All in all, a very peaceful and relaxing place to be based, and only a 2 minute drive from the centre of Porec. Would definately return - a stunning hotel. more
