We spent a week at the marvellous privately owned Ragusa Apartments in Rovinj. The apartment was extremely spacious and certainly the largest two person apartment I have ever stayed in - it could easily accommodate six. The kitchen was also spacious and had everything you needed to be able to cook with ease, although we cooked just one night as we prefer to eat out. The attention to detail in the decor was excellent and I was so impressed by the pot plants and array of fresh flowers all over the apartment, including pot orchids. The cost of the apartment was also excellent value for money. The apartment is about a 15 minute leisurely walk from the harbour and there are a couple of restaurants and bars nearby. The shop is a three minute walk away with a larger supermarket just five minutes away.

Our host, Ivan is a jovial and happy person who was anxious to tell us all about Rovinj and its attractions and gave us good advice on the best places to visit. more
