We stayed 2 nights in Villa Jidro and we fell in love with the old town of Trogir. Our city trip to Split occured on a very short notice and all the "reasonably priced -close to the centre-good reviews and reputation" B&Bs in Split were already booked out. Had a nice room with a view of the water. Location was right by one of the bridges & easy walk to everything in town. Hotel is fairly new & everything was in working order and was very clean. We had an attic room with good AC, very clean and spacious. Five minutes walk from bus station and easy to find. Pier opposite the Villa Jidro has a regular ferry to Split which is nicer than taking the bus. Very good breakfast, good selection and friendly staff (nighttime reception staff not so nice/helpful). We have just returned from another trip to Croatia and want to tell you about a real gem of a B&B. It is Villa Jidro (pronounced Yidro) and is situated on the sea front on Ciovo Island just over the bridge to Trogir.
