We stayed at apartment Riva for 4 nights in September 2009 and we were extremely pleased. We stayed in apartment 2; the apartment is renovated and very very clean…the layout of the apartment was very functional. Fabjan, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable with things to do and he was EXTREMELY helpful helping us find the apartment when we arrived late at night. He made our stay even more memorable.

There was one apartment per floor and the view from the apartment was breathtaking. The location is ideal as you are only a few steps from the city centre. Trogir was a great stop in our trip to Croatia and apartment Riva was a fabulous place to stay. We couldn’t have been more pleased and we would very highly recommend it. Enjoy! more

Apartments riva proved to be an excellent base for the start of our Croatia adventure. Fabjan was a very helpful host and a useful source for local information. We stayed in apartment 2 which was comfortable and contained all you require from a studio apartment.

The apartments are located only a few minutes walk to the old town and have a fantastic view over the marina towards the fortress.

Trogir itself is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the region (much more charming and friendlier than Split) whether you wish to go on excursions, boat trips and visit Split. We had a car, but this was not a neccessity and parking wasn't ideal. If we were to return we would probably just hire a car for a day or 2 to visit areas further away (such as Krka Waterfalls) although these can also be done on organised excursions if you wish.

Overall - we loved our time in Trogir and hope to visit again in the future. If we do - we wouldn't hesitate to stay at... more
