Got hotel confirmation from Steve Alvarado, the General Manager on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10:32PM for the nights of May 16th and 17th 2013 but when I showed up at their door on the night of May 16th I was treated as if a criminal trying to invade an exclusive resort. According to the night manager Steve was out... More

Hostal Murali told us a driver would meet us at the airport and would charge us $15. for the trip to the Hostal. The driver (Jorge) was waiting for us but charged us $30. This is a 3 to 5 minute ride which a taxi would charge $3 to $5 for. Upon arriving at hotel he tipped the night hotel... More

We stayed here after a 10 night trip on a sailboat in the Galapagos...with no air conditioning. We kept the tempterature of the room near meat freezer and it was great. Nice shower, comfortable beds and walking distance to a multipurpose store (like a Super Wal-Mart / Target like place). Great to stock up with before a trip out to... More

We stayed in the dorm room before and after a trip to Galapagos. The location is perfect for both the airport and bus station, just a 10 minute walk away. The dorm room is basic without hot water and the sink is downstairs. There are two fans provided in the dorm, and lockers available. The downstairs lobbey was comfortable with... More

Despite the website, they do not have a restaurant. You do get a half decent breakfast but there is not much around if you are looking for lunch or.dinner. There is sometimes an english speaking person here, but not always. They work with an english speaking driver [Jorge], who is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are a decent size but are... Stayed here in Dec before flying out of Guayaquil. We'll definitely stay again, it's beautifully finished with smart leather sofas, art and ornaments, the rooms are big and comfy with huge TVs and aircon, lovely showers...we paid $56 in the high season and it was a real bargain considering the other (bigger) hotels in the area can be two or...
