Recently stayed here with a group of 10 people while in Guayaquil to work at the Padre Damien Foundation. Tangara runs similarly to a bed and breakfast. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast of fruit, toast, eggs, juice, cafe or cocoa. The rooms are comfortable and the entire place is filled with the beautiful artwork of Lucia Perrone. In addition the hosts run a tour business and arranged a good day trip for our group, as well as made excellent recommendations for sights and restaurants to visit. The only downside is the airplane noise in the morning and evening but it does reflect the close proximity and ease of getting to the international airport.
Truly a great location, an oasis in a busy city. Our group plans on staying at Tangara again when we are next in Guayaquil!!
