Very nice hotel. We stayed on an overwater bungalow and it was very pretty, quite private. It's not a huge resort - quite cozy and comfortable. There are some cute local sarong/touristy shops around which are fun to visit. A lot of pearl shops as well...food isn't great but I found that to be the case in general in French... more

This is a great place for everyone. And all travel types. The bungalows are large clean and functional. The room service was fast and the beach and pool great. There was a wedding on the beach in traditional Polynesian style and that was better than the dance shows. We went to the tiki village one day for lunch and to... more

We had a phenomenal time in Tahiti and brought tons of beautiful pictures. From the time we boarded Air Tahiti Nui at LAX and landed at Papeete Airport, everything including the seats assigned to us, the inter-island flights, shuttle boats, shuttle bus and vans to the hotel, was well organized. I found it was of great help that the local... more

We had a wonderful time at the Moorea Pearl. The grounds, particularly the pool area, are beautiful and there are always people working to keep it so lovely. Check in and out went very smoothly and special thanks to Isabelle as well as the kind folks in the Gift shop who went out of their way to tell us about... more

Planned our "trip of a lifetime" for about 6 months and decided to stay at the Pearl because of the premium overwater bungalows. We thought the deeper water looked appealing and would rather spend our money on an overwater than a fancier/pricier resort. That's the reason to come to French Polynesia, right? Everyone at the resort (and all of FP,... more

We loved our 3 days there and didn't want to leave. Best island in Tahiti area. Great snorkeling right off beach. Would stay again in the beach front cabins. Very private feeling. Close 5 minute walk to shopping and eating. more

We stayed at the Pearl for 6 nights in mid-May and really liked it. There were no problems at check in and we were shown to our room within 30 minutes of arrival. We stayed in one of the garden rooms without a pool. Our room wasn't two story like some of them seem to be. It was a very... more

just returned from moorea and bora bora. The pearl has a good location - near a small market where you can purchase snacks off site. We stayed in 2 kinds of rooms. the garden view duplex was clean and well decorated. the bathroom was unique and had nice tile and granite. the stairs was awkward due to bathroom being downstairs... more

My husband and I just came back from our honeymoon from French Polynesia. We stayed in Moorea at the Pearl for 5 nights. Moorea is a beautiful island with friendly people and less expensive then Bora Bora. The Pearl was great. The staff were really helpful, organized and friendly. The hotel was really clean and nice. Upon our arrival we... more
