We had booked the Villa Dea before the only other (negative) review appeared in April 2009, and we therefore set off with some trepidation. But we needn't have worried. This isn't a hotel, it's a building of serviced rooms that happens to have the operating company's office on the ground floor. So to criticize it as a hotel is unfair. The rooms were of good quality, well-equipped and clean. The location is excellent, on the shores of the beautiful lake and on the edge of a charming town of Ohrid. If the staff in the offices were around, they were helpful. And we didn't have any of the problems with hot water mentioned by the reviewer from Tirana. more

We arrived on 13th of april 09 after have booking 3 rooms. We noticed that on the matriomonial rom there were no couple coverlet, but separate and very small size single ones. The owner answer: in Macedonia this is normal, we have only that type of coverlet.
Second big surprise: at 9 ocloc'k in the morning there was no warm water and we could not ( 6 people) have shawer. The owner answer: we have a solar system for having it, so you have to wait probably 1 hour and half to get the right warm water.

The owner did not say sorry for that, and the agency down stairs did get the total amount of money as everwy thing was ok . Very wired way to run a hotel. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO STAY at villa Dea in Ohrid more
