Extremely peaceful place to stay as it is set on the river, crocodiles come up to the sides and you get a really good view of them, there are always people there to make sure you don't get hurt. The rooms were clean, just in need of serious modernisation. The staff however, were vile. So so unhelpful. I arrived there... More

We stayed here more out of curiosity than anything else and it is a handy location for visiting Kakum. It is clean however the rooms are basic, didn't go in the pool but it didn't look the cleanest.. and is small and overcrowded. The place is a bit odd with weird pools which the rooms overlook - I assume there... More

Basic budget hotel. Alligators are a big attraction and great for families. Food is decent. They are extremly worried about their towels and check the rooms before they will check you out. If any are missing you will be charged. Asked for discount since room was not cleaned one day and this german lady (who is just helping out; not... More

We were given 48hours visa to transit through Ghana and luckily we chose this place to spend our night in Ghana. It is located about 5km north from centre of Cape Coast. This complex offers you exactly what you need, camping, lodging, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, etc. It is quite big area to be maintained and not everything isn't in... More

I had a stop over on my way from Kakum National Park and was very impressed with the hotel setting, i had the rare opportunity of touching and taking pictures with a live crocodile(the pictures have all my friends green with envy i might add). The restaurant meals were okay with the drinks reasonably priced, the staff were very polite... More

With reasonable expectations, this hotel will not disappoint you. It's clean, spacious, in a pretty area, and even has rooms with AC. Remember, this is not in a city, and it's Ghana. The only complaints would be that the waiters seem to be somewhat comatose, and we only spotted one sleepy crocodile during our 2 day stay. Otherwise, enjoy a... More

This place was very nice. I used to go there, but standards were dropping. The restaurant is bad, the crocodile pond is now dirty and stinking. Service is slow. Beware of the receptionists, they might add some 30% to the bill.

We visited Kakum National Park on 2 separate days and each time, we went to Hans Botel for a meal afterwards. Its a great venue, very relaxed, sitting in the restaurant with the lake immediately beneath you. Apart from the "tame" crocodile which allows people to pose beside it (under supervision), the views over the small lake are great. You... More

It is quite difficult to rate this place fairly as standards are so different to what you are used. We went there as a group of eight and overall we had a great time when we stayed at the hotel. My wife and I stayed in one of the A/C rooms but it was relatively cool so could have done... More

I want to warn EVERYONE to stay away from this place. The owners of the hotel offer the opportunity to touch 'trained' African Crocodiles. I took advantage of this opportunity and was bit in the face & clawed in the back of the head, I was very lucky to walk away with my life. Since then they have done NOTHING... More
