if i could give it a lower rating, i would. by american standards, luna would be less than 1 star hotel, as our lodge smelled like cat pee, had stained towels, sheets that had the sour smell of laundry that had been wet for a few days & forgotten to be dried, air-conditioning that sounded like a train was going... Somewhat dated but clean rooms. Food was ok, but resort is within walking distance of West End and the food and entertainment there. More

Booked for 4 nights, but moved out after 1 - terrible accommodation. Extremely overpriced. For $160 a night plus tax you expect so much more. the 'resort' was tired, uncared for, the towels were old and stained, the bedsheets smelt damp and the room stunk of cat pee. Complained to the manager who only paid lip service to our complaints.... More

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, I'm sure we would have helped in any way if we were given the chance. I think you were not aware of where you were staying, since we are less then a 10 minute walk along the beach to West End, not 40 minutes. Consequentially you do not need a... More

The rental house was nice enough....plenty of room, a full kitchen, clean and well-furnished. The location is typical for Roatan.....safe during the day, and semi-sketchy at night. Between the resort and West End the beach is dark but all the locals report it as a safe walk, provided you are not alone. We did see numerous policemen armed with AK-47s... More

Just returned from Luna Beach Resort with my daughter and I can't say enough about the place. I have already booked the first week in December and bought and airline ticket to return even before Ieft. The staff was great. Whitney made it so easy and set all our adventures up for us. Hyrum took care of us at the... More

Very nice rooms, the dive shop was amazing. We became certified scuba divers in the week we were there! Everything about Roatan made it a place we would want to return to over and over, but the sand flies made sitting at the beach, on our lovely veranda - any outside activities very uncomfortable (even with deep woods off applied... I just returned from a two week stay in Roatan. Although I didn't stay at luna beach resort, I did dive with them. I have been diving for 32 years now and can say that this was the best diving experience of my life. The reef system there has to be seen to be believed. The dive staff there was... More

Rooms ok but too isolated. Walk to restaurants too hot during lunch, too dangerous during dinner. Everything shuts down at sundown and there is nothing to do. All that it can offer you can get nearer West End (town) and West Bay and cheaper. I asked for towels and they were a dollar each, I wanted to borrow a flash... More

My husband, 18 year old son, friends and myself stayed at Luna Beach for approximately ten days. Booking Booking was a peice of cake with Debbie the daughter of the owner of Luna Beach. She made everything run smoothly, and was very helpful with any questions we had. We met her father at the resort, he is such a nice... More
